2010 ANNUAL SPRING EGG HUNT & WAGON/BIKE PARADE The 2nd Annual Spring Wagon/Bike Parade and Egg Hunt was received by a beautiful Spring day and wonderfully decorated bikes and wagons. The winners were Funniest- 3 year old Gina Mortillo, Most Original 6 year old Michael Giulianno and brother 3 year old Antonio, and the Prettiest 5 year old Tara Sedlak. They are all from Warren Township. Volunteers from Watchung Hills Regional High School, municipal employees and local residents plus donations from Weichert Realtor, StarBucks, Warren Blueridge Hunting Club, Lion's Club and Jersey Men's Football League made this day special. Thank you to everyone for your generosity and help.

Warren Recreation High School Boy Basketball Championship Game The 3rd seeded Team Oregon came out victorious against the 4th seeded Team USC with a score of 51/42 last night in front of a large crowd of students and parents. It was a well played game by both teams. Congradulations Oregon and USC for reaching the finals.

100 years of Scouting Centennial Celebration
Warren Recreation Commission holds 2nd Annual Yuletide Bonfire
Saturday, Jan. 23rd over 300 residents gathered to socialize with neighbors, ice skate and enjoy music and refreshments. They roasted marshmallows and smores; children played on the new playground and took advantage of the warmth from the bonfire and fireplace. “This is a wonderful intergenerational event where everyone can enjoy something!
The Recreation Commission would like to thank the volunteers who helped make this happen. Township Committee woman, Carolann Garafola; Recreation Commissioners Karen Manner, Chris Brennan and Mary Ellen Florey, Cub Scout Pack 182, Boy Scout Troop 228, Girl Scout troops 825, 512, 928, 65-197 Warren Blueridge Hunting Club, Warren Fire Dept. bonfire), Warren Rescue squad & OEM, also the numerous teens, parents and Senior Citizens who helped setup and serve.
We could not run this free event without the generous donations from the Warren Blueridge Hunting Club, Girl Scout Troops 825, 512, 928, 304, Boy Scout Troop 228, Cub Scout Pack 182, Lions Club, Bob Marino, Warren StarBucks, Greenbrook Plaza Dunkin Donuts, Forest Lodge, Anderson Arbor Care and Country Squire Restaurant.
