ROAD PROJECTS

Reconstruction work on Mountain Boulevard (CR 527) in Watchung Borough is scheduled to begin in December. The limits of the work will be from near the traffic signal at Old Stirling Road to Brookdale Road. During the winter months the Contractor will work mostly off the edge of the road and will shift traffic lanes around his work zone. Reduction to one lane with traffic directed by flaggers may occur between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Delays should be expected during these hours. Traffic will be returned to normal lane usage each evening. The construction work on this project is expected to last at least one year. (Posted 11/28/12)
