HOME REHABILITATION PROGRAM

The Warren Township Committee offers a Housing Rehabilitation Program for residents who meet C.O.A.H. regulations for low and moderate incomes.    The program provides up to $11,000 per dwelling for home improvements such as:  new roof, electrical improvements, smoke detectors, etc.  The funds are in the form of an interest free loan which is forgiven after a 10 year period.  The loan must be repaid only if the property is sold.  Interested residents can contact Rehabco, Inc., at (732) 477-7750 of Brick, New Jersey or the Township Administrator’s office at extension 252.   The Township has been successful in rehabilitating over 45 houses since 1989.  

In order to be eligible, the following guidelines are in effect as of 2008.  Income cannot exceed the following amounts per households:

1 person………….$54,152

2 person………….$61,888

3 person………….$69,624

4 person………….$77,360
